Registry Details Australian Holders, page-4

After much googling and playing around the Computershare (Aus website), I managed to get to the NZ page (NZ top right corner):

    https://www-au.computershare.com/Investor/#Home

But then upon registering, it asked for CSN and FIN. I've got the CSN from my welcome letter from Smartpay, but had to dig through all my unopened mail from Computershare (NZ) for the FIN.

However, upon registering, you can see all your holdings similar to the Aus version. But thats about it: I couldn't update anything: communications, bank details, TFN etc. It asks for NZ IRD (which is their TFN), so I'm assuming thats for NZ tax resident only. And for bank details, it asks for NZ bank account, which I don't have and has got me stumped. It wouldn't really affect Aus Shareholders unless they pay a dividend. But with the SPP any refunds would have to be done by cheque (hmmm, touch wood, it doesn't get lost, otherwise, I tried calling Computershare 1300 number, they cannot help you as they are not the registry. May have to ring NZ Computershare).

The double fingers cross, is that, I hope the SPP documentation would be similar to all the other BPAY and is accessible through the Computershare NZ website. If not, then mail getting lost issue arises. Same for subscribing for shares, hope its via BPAY vs having to mail a cheque. Hmm, that would be interesting, given there is only a 2 week window for SPP to muck around with all this.

So that is my solution, hopefully, everything works the same as the Australian version of Computershare, at least for the SPP. That is, BPAY etc., may have to wait for the cheque refund (hopefully in AUS$ not NZ$, to save bank fees), given its likely to be well oversubscribed.
