It seems to me that with ground penetrating radar and modern GPS devices it should be simple and cheap to run a number of traverses across the terraces on the whole Egina/Kangan project which Sumitomo is financing. This would quickly give a fair idea of the extent of "swales" and the more extensive, lower grade "terraces". If I was running the show that would be my first priority.
