– iCash Payment Systems Limited began its final phase of engineering tests of the Remote Mobile Connectivity System (ReMoCon) ATM solution.
ReMoCon addresses the difficulties associated with deploying ATMs and other Self Service terminal devices in very remote and or mobile platforms. The constraints of transaction security, carrier cost and “data latency” have all been addressed whilst still exceeding the stringent requirements of the Payment Card Industry/ Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
“The solution developed with iCash’s switching and communication partners uses a combination of hardware and software based encryption, message authentication and proof-of-end-point validation to provide total transactional security. The message is encrypted and secure before it even leaves the iCash device. The power, flexibility and vast availability of modern TCP/IP based communication platforms eliminate the previous need for expensive private networks or frame relay links.” said Wayne Robinson, Chief Technical Engineer.
iCash is now able to deploy and support ATM's wherever standard internet connectivity is available, including cruise liners, remote mining sites and isolated resorts.
