when i had shingles all down the left hand side of my back and hip i was put on ANTI VIRAL drugs but an less you get put on them in the first 72 hours they really don't do much if any thing i got put on them at around the 55 hour mark and i don't think that they helped i have never had such bad pain and i suffered with pain for many years after but not as bad as that first year , shingles is caused by acute inflammation of the nerve system so i wonder if we might have a better treatment here at MSB i could only hope if i ever got shingles that bad again i would take my LI - -
