Indeed! I listened to the whole session it was a great discussion between the panelists although that guy speaking, lol was like he was half asleep LMAO
but in all seriousness this was great to hear from Naomi. ResApp was mentioned on a few occasions. It's great to have a consultant like her on board informing the pharmaceutical companies about Digital Solutions in healthcare that can help like ResApp. Pharmaceutical companies that she speaks to understands the importance of Digital Solutions and recognises the role that these will play within their company embracing it! That was wonderful to hear

Yes it's easy for some to criticize her for saying silly things like getting past the ick factor of your child coughing on your phone, one needs to clarify this to her maybe Tony needs to give her another demonstration because that is simply not the case. You cough near your phone at arms length, besides my children are sometimes on my phone coughing and spluttering on it unintentionally while talking to family members etc do I care NO there're my kids! Just wipe down the screen with an antimicrobial wipe if one is antsy about it, simple!!
I did take some very good points out of that conversation regarding showing the benefits within the healthcare system and ResApp have outlined this again today with this update surrounding the economic evaluation in Germany and the update on COPD as its not just about getting the FDA, CE and TGA etc, approvals but also showing the healthcare system that it can save them a lot of money and time etc. Naomi did touch on Germany quite a bit. She stated that after getting CE Mark clearance proving this in the hospital setting in Europe is the next step. This is what ResApp is trying to achieve in order to seek widespread adoption, reimbursements and take up by potential insurance companies within the healthcare system in Europe which is why they are currently conducting pocket studies in the UK with multiple hospital networks and in Germany.
I note that the studies are on hold until the coronavirus pandemic settles down over there. They are only small time studies and I doubt they would last any longer than a couple of months once they get going.... None the less - good confirmation that things are proceeding..
