You're not wrong, Gold Fields has declared 19.06%, so they don't have room to move up w/o launching a takeover.
That said, they have their own issues GLOBALLY, which make CQT as big a deal for Gold Fields as HAW is for CQT as someone noted earlier. For details, see www.goldfields.co.za , especially their share price performance over the last year!
