A just published paper authored by doctors at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the National Burns Centre at Auckland’s Middlemore Hospital.
The case series describes BTM use in 25 patients with a range of defects resulting from acute full thickness burn injury, burn scar revision, necrotising soft-tissue infection, tumour excision and traumatic loss.
