Sorry to take so long to get back to you. Just caught up with my friend, he didn't know anything! Bummer. Works at Halls Creek, hadn't even really heard of 8 mile creek etc. Sorry no news to add. Another friend who doesn't work there though, he had heard about it, but didn't really know much, just that it looks like a new mine / activity going ahead up there.
