The concept of contributing shares is nothing new....been around for decades.

What's new is the bad name these toll road ventures have got over recent times. Probably all sterted with the underperforming Lane Cove tunnel, then Connect East, Rivercity Motorway etc.

No doubt the road (tunnel) will get build, as I understand the additional 2 contributions are fully underwritten. I live about a km from it and can tell you that a lot of demolition work has been occurring in the last 2 weeks or so.

As a road, it makes a lot of sense...as an investment, well, that's a different story.
