actually I decided not to go near a doctor for the time being. I need to do a coronary check at some point - playing safe since all my forbears on both sides have had coronary problems of one sort of another and two brothers and one sister have stents. so i will get to it - just enjoying life at present - including persimmons. Mangos are another favourite. I had a friend who knew I liked them and when he visited he always brought a box with him. Mangos and persimmons are, I think, best eaten in a bath with a glass of champagne.
