Based on the Doherty Institute's findings it is recommended that serology-based COVID-19 POC tests should not be used until at leasttwo weeks post onset of symptoms.It appears that that the five tests that have been evaluated have an adequate level of specificity and positive antibody results in a symptomatic individual could be presumed to be positive for COVID-19 although this would require confirmation by laboratory testing.
So thats that then.
