I was excited by the home-testing aspect of Atomo's expertise - with the HIV tests - and hoped that might translate to covid tests that could be done without the need for medical professionals to be directly involved.
I thought home-testing, or testing supervised by non-medical personnel, could perhaps be a huge advantage for countries with limited medical staff.
But this direction doesn't seem to be on the radar at the moment? Or at least I haven't heard anything about it.
