Iraq attack-what affect...

I was just wondering what affect people remember the attacks on Iraq in 1990/1991 had on certain stocks particularily oil producers. Wars always result in stock markets going down. But if Iraq was attacked i assume the oil price would go up rapidly(if only for a few weeks), but what would happen to the share price of a company such as Woodside(WPL)? I am not old enough to remember what happenned then to WPL, if someone can remember please tell me if it went up down or sideways. Thank you.
