I have been trying to track shorts here as well but I am not sure I quite understand the various sources for it.
You mention 99m but the ASX daily notice for 4/6/20 says 2.5m (below). If I understand the reporting, the ASX notice is T4 so actually the the 2.4m is the number of short shares on 1/6/20.
Do you have a better source for this? It is incredibly confusing since shortman uses, I think, a weekly aggregate.
