I think we all really need to stop comparing Zip to AP every time there's a surge. To me it's an irrelevant question, although they're in the same game, they're fundamentally different companies.

Zip will never be AfterPay and vice versa. It's like comparing MS to Apple. Are they competitors? Sure. Is one more valuable than the other. Yes. Does it matter? No. I'll admit it's fun to compare and I am guilty, I even said in a previous post that this acquisition reminds me on AP in its infancy so pot calling the kettle black here, but no one should ever take it beyond face value.

On another note, assuming this is the extent of the sell down, next few weeks should be juicy. Eager to know if they will release May results, I hope they do but understand if they don't. Recession confirmed by govt, should rattle some cages and people will continue to cancel credit cards and high interest debt in favor of BNPL.

$20 is excessive, but assuming sentiment stays in favor, this could boom.
