Joannie, from my understanding 80less is a combination of sucrose and sucralose and is 5 times sweeter than table sugar without the calories.

I found this link to have some good insights regarding Sucralose (commercially known as ‘Splenda’)

    https://www.downtoearth.org/articles/2009-03/68/sucralose-dangerous-sugar-substitute

TLDR - Sucralose by itself is reported as being 600 times sweeter than table sugar, however becomes unstable with heat, which makes it unsuitable in cooking.

80less as advertised, has excellent heat stability and can be used as a sugar replacement in cooking.

Given the differences above, I’d suggest the Sucralose content in 80less to be minimal... enough to provide meaningful benefits over table sugar, but without any potential negative affects....kinda in keeping with the healthy food message Holista is all about.

    All IMO, DYOR
