Actually I don't agree on hydrogen. Hydrogen has a role. Water turns into fuel and oxidant and back. It's a beautiful; it's a certainty afaic. More consensus on that than global warming.
There can and eventually will routinely be more renewable energy than a grid wants or can handle or a community needs and hydrogen is pretty-much perfect for storage. The toughest problem that remains is the energy barrier of the hydrolysis reaction and that's coming down. Still not enough. Until then they make a mess making H2.
So do agree H2 is suspect anti-productive now, extra work for grid, hard to justify except for urban horror shows or maybe materials handling indoors but I dont want plug any stocks.
What is a high power source that emits water as it's only "waste" worth to anyone? Ask around.
