Peter Dutton and Virgin Australia

Peter Dutton is Australia's home affairs minister. He has overall responsibility for national security including cybersecurity and counterterrorism, law enforcement, emergency management, transport security, immigration, citizenship, border control, multicultural affairs, ASIO and the Federal Police.
It's not the sort of responsibility I believe should be given to a guy who failed to declare a million dollar property, was caught up in the au pair visa saga and let the Corona Virus into NSW when he allowed in the Ruby Princess cruise ship.
Virgin Australia is Australia's second airline and when Corona Virus put us all in lockdown in March, Virgin went into voluntary administration.
When I saw who was on the shortlist to takeover Virgin alarm bells started ringing. The collusion involved between administration companies and the private equity firms who are in the running to takeover Virgin needed a thorough investigation , so I investigated it.
And what does this have to do with Dutton.
When the Queensland Government decided they weren't going to let another private equity company come in and do to Virgin what they always do - make lots of money, provide no benefits to society and then sell off Virgin a few years later at huge multiples of what they paid for it, Peter Dutton came in to the picture.
The only sensible option is for a state government to buy Virgin Australia. This is because the sales process run by the administrator Deloitte is flawed. But Dutton said to the Qld government 'don't buy Virgin Australia" Leave it to the market.
By watching this three part series (in total 12 minutes) of what has happened to Virgin Australia you should get an understanding of how a company like Virgin is brought into administration, how secretive the process is, how favoured parties are selected, how genuine buyers are not allowed into the inner circle and how the final shortlisted parties all collude with each other and the administrator.
It is not a proper process.
I'm sharing these videos with you now not so you can nod your head and agree with it all, I am hoping you can share it. With at least 3 people. Only then will people hear what is going on behind the scenes at Virgin Australia.
The videos are unedited at this stage. Unfortunately. But with time constraints, all the diagrams, music and clips that had been prepared for these videos are still missing. But there is no time to lose on this one. If we don't spread this, private equity will take over Virgin Australia and we will be paying through the nose for plane travel.
