Personally I like them as it gives you opportunity and an easy way to invest in stock you may not of normally had a chance to do so. It is usually a smaller amount but some I've invested in have allowed additional funds for a holiday.

Regarding Manuka, yes it's further advanced now than the previous attempts at listing and is capitalising on two commodities that are in good demand namely gold and silver. Personally not aware of any other smaller ASX listed stocks near or producing silver at present. (I stand to be corrected)
