While I'm disappointed that there's no cornerstone investor coming on board, the important thing is what that extra money will do for Hazer's overall position and progress towards commercialisation. Short term pain and some dilution but we knew there was going to be a CR at some point and I'd rather get it out the door now at 42c than a few months ago in the 20s or possibly even worse.
Might be glass half full etc but I'm happy to accept a bit of dilution now for the longer term benefits of having Hazer in a stronger position. Not forgetting the current frothy nature of the capital markets too, which I feel can't be sustained for too much longer, so raising capital now probably isn't a bad idea.
