LOL @frostieshake . That was a lesson to me too.
Water technologies have a long gestation period, with incredibly many number of hoops to go through. Without China who was willing to give FLC a chance, and China's willingness to accept, and then embrace new technological changes as a whole, MABR will still be in hibernation.
Another lesson I have learnt. Someone must be prepared to be the guinea pig with technological changes, to be a catalyst for change. Have the guts to be a pioneer. In that regard, I am thankful for Hubei iTest who came in with the first bulk orders. If Ms Toh (iTest's CEO) fails with MABR, she will fail spectacularly. Her reputation with be mud in China. Not to mention, we have all the other SOEs, and the biggest potential of it all, Three Gorges Group who are now prepared to give it a go.
Next time, I will go for a Tesla, FaceBook, or something else that scales up globally quickly and not have such long gestation periods. ;-)
