I think its a pretty smart move by Minemakers to submit to the Infrastructure Fund and highlight the potential bottlenecks at Port of Darwin. Just another case of AD putting the companies position clearly before governments.

The project has major project status in NT and whilst govt's can be stupid they are not going to support if a Port problem will prevent development. The statement to the Fed's is clear "if you want to build the nation, spend some cash"

Darwin's the only place for the expansion in NT, North South Australia and may be the way to solve Mt Isa's transportation problems.
