As the Captain of a Vessel running two large VEEM gyros I believe the real money is in producing the larger stabilizers for Superyachts and Commercial vessels. VEEM have successfully cornered this market and there is very little competition in this area. I have no doubt that the demand in this area will grow exponentially over the next few years. The benefits in fuel economy for gyros vs traditional fin stabilizers is very significant on larger vessels and particuarly high speed vessels. When a company like DAMEN installs a VEEM gyro the whole industry sits up and listens. Big things for this company in the near future, particularly in the large Gyro sector - IMO
