after a parabolic rise in most metals there was always a chance for a whacking.
the medium term story has not changed - demand from asia and a rapidly inflating US economy and deflating US dollar mean medium term solidity for the commodity case.
the case for holding some gold has not changed either!
due to crushing debt levels greenspan cannot and will not allow deflation to occur. this is the early 70's all over again
