Good pick up. I wathched it last night and it seems the Aus community in general are against Telstra.

The Minister, Gov't in general, Terria, the unions, the lot.

It would be a real shame to see the NBN built and owned by a foreign owned entity and alas this is a real possibility.
I wonder if the Sinapore Gov't would allow the opposite, I say never in a million years!!!

It seems Aus is quite happy for all this country's assets to go over to foreign hands. Nobody buys Australian and everybody shops for the cheapest NOT caring where the jobs are that made or supplied (slave/child labour or not).

We are a society that lets good inventions leave these shores due to lack of support or well known Aussie assets bought by large global monaliths.

We don't really care. It is going to be a pity for our children and their children once all our natural gifts (resources) have been exploited and sold for next to nothing, and with no plan in train to look for alternatives.
