You seem to be under the mistaken impression that the Talison operation is some sort of start-up!!
For your information, they are a long-term producer (the biggest primary producer in the world) and are knocking out 1.3m lbs of Tantalum per annum.
Trouble is, they cannot continue at current prices because their operation is not viable so they are demanding substantial price increases from January 2009 - rumoured to be of the order of 85% higher!
We have been discussing this here for many months so I would have thought you would have understood the real Gippsland v Talison issues by now!
