Thanks for your comments and sympathies. Norbita I agree that was an excellent read on the FMG site. ABY seem to be cutting costs such as Esperanza development and I have to think that Hindalco will support them (Hindalco is the customer as well as the major shareholder). I also just had a closer read of the accounts and as far as I could make out they appear to have access to a 115m bank facility which they have not drawn on (from Interest bearing note 17 Mar08 audited accounts and reference to the fact thee only appeared to be the lease liaiblity on the balance sheet in the half year accounts and the 650k related party loan). Also in need I think they could access more cash from the AditBirla family. Perhaps I am trying to convince myself but I think there could be some life in this dog yet which would even with copper prices depressed for a year or two would seem to make this ludicrously cheap. I just wish the management would put out a bit more information on their long term viability.
