DOW was predicted to go into meltdown overnight but at the moment it does not seem to know what it is doing. Plunged 800 points then ran up to 200 points in the positive. Still over an hour of trade to go so could well end up anywhere - maybe back to where it started trading.
This could flow on to the ASX so yesterdays losses may well be recovered today. Most shares were oversold yesterday so could be a flow back into purchasing those back.
As one poster put it, yesterday was painful but falls were not due to the fundamentals of IMU or other biotechs. Just the general nervousness in the markets at the moment where any news gets multiplied 10 fold.
