So it appears the Fed does have more levers in its toolbox. Just buy more bonds. And if that stops working, maybe they will start buying equities outright.
This is a win-win situation. The Fed has basically handed alpha to all investors on a silver platter. Why you would be out of the market right now, let alone short, boggles the mind.
People need to keep in mind that it's monetary conditions that move the markets, not earnings reports.
Trump will keep the equity & credit markets buoyant right up to the election.
