    Because if you do the research, you'll realise that Novonix's patents apply to a battery chemistry that is not used by Tesla.

    Jeffrey Dahn's patents apply to Nickel-Cobalt-Aluminium cathodes. Only Tesla use this.

    Novonix's patents apply to Nickel-Cobalt-Manganese cathodes. Everyone else use this.
