I believe the reason for this cap raise is " because we can". No one is betting an eye at a cap raise at this point. My view is that they are strengthening the balance sheet in preparation for a recession once the gov money dries up. Having cash will then also be good for potential acquisitions.
Not sure why they wouldn't say that though, as the reasons put forward in the update all seem to be achievable without raising any money.
