Thanks Dave, I had in my mind that the fall was 4ish percent that day, I just checked back
and the dow did fall nearly 7% but SP500 and nasdaq faired better down 5ish%

Anyway, the LSF SP has fallen in in percentage terms more than the NTA over the last few down
days, I was thinking the buyback would help smooth that volatility in SP movements a little,
I suppose it would have if it were buying those down days, but if you take away the support for the
down days it just makes the downward pressure greater and SP fall further

Maybe that buy on close yesterday will turn out fortutious after all
