Hence why the stock price has hit limbo - it's waiting for more information and is very volatile to buying/selling as people will correlate that with info about to come out. At the end of the day, we just don't know yet. In all likelihood it will be that Tesla will announce a link to CATL and CATL will use NVX IP. People will speculate but at the end of the day, we will know nothing about a link between CATL, NVX and Tesla until Musk dishes out - presumably on battery day. It was supposed to be last month but delayed until June. Given that Musk wants to do this in person it could be postponed another month since the COVID numbers in the US have continued to get worse.
