Zip and Afterpay are not competitors. Neither can really do the job the other can without impacting their scale up. Afterpay won't slow to make a zip clone and quad pay doesn't deliver all the things apt does. so they will remain separate for a while. then if they merge it's going to be an unstoppable force ...
You can disagree with me as is your right but i bet I've spent 1000 hours more studying bnpl and their models than most critics.
