I think the moral to the story is to continue broadly learning. And always be exploring avenues of making money work for you. I have been in numerous situations where people say you cant do that. When you start to ask the right questions of the right people, things start happening. If you weren't that little bit financially literate great opportunities pass you by. There are always bargains in all investment styles, all the time, in doom and gloom, only if you keep an open mind and maybe think outside the square you live in.
