Thanks for the insight. I agree that holders who own more than 800K (@$17) in BRG will perhaps help the pool a little as they will be diluted even more. Though the proportion of retail holders this large is very very small.

However, I am yet to see a scale back that was based on the amount applied for and I have participated in/followed more than 10 over the last few months. Every scaleback to date has been based fully on the number of shares held when the raising was announced. The 18% figure will vary depending on how much you personally applied for. It is irrelevant in terms of calculating dilution and what % of your current holding you will get. Best guess at the moment is around 4% of your holding on the census date. No wonder management snuck this announcement in at the end of the day!
