Bit of a story behind this. The Poltech speed cameras probably were not top of the line plus you had a Vic Govt who relied solely on a manufacturers warranty and would not pay for a proper maintainance contract---result was a proper balls-up.
The Vic Govt buys these outright but of course the cameras require proper servicing and maintainance as distinct from warranty cover.
Guess who is odds on to get some pretty good maintainance contracts?
