    Markie,
Your only reference to Hyrdo usage is in regards to Cars???

Have you read the CSIRO National Hydrogen Roadmap? of course you haven't... all you have watched is a video on cars.

Let me open the world a little bit for you. Hydrogen can be used for:
    # Rocket Fuel
    # Hydrogen Fuel Cells
    # Hydrogen use in vehicles (well you know this one)
    # Food (harden oil to produce margarines and other semi solid fats)
    # Petrochemical (hydrotreating and hydrocracking)
    # Synthetic fuels (liquid fuel supply)
    # Chemicals (Methanol, Ammonia, Olefins)
    # Glass manufacturing
    # Metals processing

The big one for me is the Australian electricity market where they are moving away from conventional thermal generation towards an increasing proportion of variable renewable energy (VRE). What is this you ask? As a low emissions energy carrier, hydrogen can help manage this transition by overcoming challenges associated with short term (seconds) to long term (seasonal) energy supply intermittency. Thus hydrogen can solve the energy trilemma that being security, affordability and environmental sustainability. I could go on however I suggest you read the roadmap as a start to your education.

Hydrogen is NOT just limited to cars. That is but ONE industry of many that use it.

Do your research and it will pay dividends.
