folks your absolutely kidding yourselves if you think a dividend fall of 20% is your risk, check back on other recessions and bank dividends during these phases, your downside risk is no dividend and a $5 stock price
folks dont get it this is not a common garden variety credit shock, this is the monster from the black lagoon. ANZ could go sub $10 for the next 3 years and have its dividend wiped out for the next 3 years, if some of the more disastrous scenarios I have outlined are played out ANZ wont have capital left over to pay dividends.
