Glad to here you didn't have all your eggs in one basket.
I went to see a financial "expert" at the start of this year. They advised me to borrow heavly against the equity in my house to invest in stocks, literally said I was mad if I didn't. I'm glad I only invested a small amount compared to what they advised me to. I would be up to neck in poop if I did exactly what they suggested. Luckly I'm only up to my knees in it!
Experts hey! Does anyone know of another profession that still gets paid when they fail? I tried to employ a funds manager that would accept payment based on their performance. No luck with that one. They're happy to take your money but they won't take any responsibility for it.
