SPI September futures traded in a 71 point range last night, with a high of 5960, low of 5889, and a close this morning of 5922, down 5 points, on lowish volume of 13,105 contracts. Gaps from last night are up at 5939 and 5932, and down at 5916.
Initial US jobless claims for the week ending June 13 remain high, at 1.508 million, as did continuing claims at 20.544 million for the week ending June 6th. DOW down .,15 pct, SNP up .06 pct, and Canada (resource driven) up more, at .33 pct. VIX down 1.58 pct to 32.94. Have a nice Friday, the anything can happen day.
