Your point highlights the very reason I mention Turnbull should prepare a document on what his alternative government would do about this crisis (at this point). Some Rudd lovers for instance still know nothing about his 100g cap suggestion.
Rudd is a proven plagiarist who plays one up man-ship when it comes to policies that suit his agenda, but I think Turnbull should take a chance and get something out there that shows he has the metal to genuinely put his view on the table and leave no doubt he offers Australia better leadership in these times.
People around the country are hurting bad because they loved their departed wealth or fear for their job saftey(etc), they don't want to hear spin from Rudd and Swan, nor do they want to hear from Turnbull that better times will be further away because of poor government decisions.
Aussies are starting to look for hope Simco. I'm merely saying it is a chance for the opposition to shine.
