I posted this article previously. The Mark 1 unit was shipped this month (pre-production) for customer testing.
So NVX has the initial Samsung contract. MOU with Sanyo ready to go any moment and Kore's Mark1 in preproduction testing being shipped to customers. Expect something to happen commercially later this year with Kore.

KORE Power today announced that its initial shipment of pre-production Mark 1 modules are now in transit to customers for integration testing in their stationary energy storage applications. Additional Mark 1 modules are being shipped to an independent lab for confirmatory testing for prospective customers.
“After successful beta product testing earlier this year, we are elated to begin shipments to customers and partners to facilitate integration of the Mark 1 into their respective stationary energy storage applications,” said Lindsay Gorrill, CEO of KORE Power. “In addition to extensive development, our Mark 1 modules undergo rigorous testing, ensuring we provide our customers with the safest and most reliable energy storage solution on the market. We are looking forward to our customers’ feedback and are confident that these initial integrations will be seamless.”
KORE Power’s Mark 1 battery cells are fully certified under UN 38.3, UL 1973 and IEC 62619. These tests are related to battery usage in stationary energy storage, battery management software and transportation of lithium-ion batteries.
The Mark 1 module and rack achieved UN 38.3 certification in April 2020. IEC 62619 and UL 1973 testing are underway with full certifications expected in June and July 2020, respectively.
System testing for evaluating thermal runaway fire propagation in battery energy storage systems (UL 9540A) for the Mark 1 energy storage system will begin June 12, 2020 with completion expected by September 2020.
“Pre-production Mark 1 modules are shipping over the next month to all regions of the United States and the United Kingdom for integration into applications for projects which do not require UL 9540A,” said Brad Telin, KORE Power’s Senior Vice President of Operations. “Once all certifications are obtained, we will expand production to fulfill orders that require UL 9540A so that customers may enjoy the safety, efficacy and density of the Mark 1 Energy Storage System around the globe.”
