after reading this article, you're making the conclusion, doubling down that "credit risk isn't an issue" ......in your opinion.
"afterpay losses are just an illusion" - perhaps that's the only headline devotees will accept, or can even stomach, given the precarious nature of issuing loans to consumers without:-
a) income , employment , capacity verification
b) bureau credit checks to confirm hardship and past behaviour on consumer accounts
because both a) and b) are superfluous...they're not fit for purposes ...particularly given losses, for apt, "is just an illusion"
this article is simply an information piece, little to no depth in credit risk detail..yet, for some reason, some poster is elevating its importance to bolster their own argument.
