Suggests Iberdrola will prevail.
Given Iberdrola takeover is conditional on achieving a shareholding of more than 50% (among other conditions), there is a prospect that IFN remains listed and shareholders can choose to stay in IFN for the ride as minorities. IFN with a well funded majority shareholder arguably means IFN will press on with developing its pipeline and other projects at a quicker rate than the status quo.
