Sorry the sentence I wrote was a bit ambiguous, closed loop testing is six weeks. I meant the multi fracture stimulation and multi fracture drilling development had an estimated timeline of six to eight months. They aim to develop and test these techniques in this kind of time frame, it looks to be the last major technical hurdle. I'm not sure how strongly they can commit to this schedule (how many unknowns there are), I'd love to know more about just how difficult these objectives will be to reach.

I had a look at multi fracture stimulation, and have seen at least one reference to existing technology that can do this, so it's not entirely theoretical. In terms of multi fracture drilling, they mentioned 2500psi was highest surface pressure on a rig to date (worldwide), and they needed 5000psi to drill through existing fractures effectively. Not sure if other drilling techniques were possible (temporary casing around fracture etc, which might also solve the multiple fracture issue).
