Good point 5riven. I'm guessing that there are basically two ways that rocks at Gundagai can have such high gold concentrations. It could be that there is a supergene enrichment layer, but I don't hear of too many supergene gold deposits in the NSW Lachlan fold belt. For example, GRL announced there could be a supergene layer at its ground at Mt Aubery, but even then it was about 6 to 10 g of gold per ton. Good geological conditions and a long time period are needed to get supergene enrichment of 300 to 400 gram per ton, as far as I understand it. The second possiblity is that there are rich mineralised veins in the mineralised system at Gundagai. "Grade is KIng" and hopefully the rich mineralisation has a good thickness. Drilling will tell amigo. And it is good to see GRL acting quickly.
