"Air New Zealand is beefing up its regional capacity by putting on an additional 268 flights during next month's school holidays to meet the increase in demand as more Kiwis plan their winter escape.
Routes to see additional flights between July 6-19 include Blenheim, Dunedin, Gisborne, Hamilton, Invercargill, Kerikeri, Napier, New Plymouth, Nelson, Palmerston North, Rotorua, Timaru, Tauranga and Whangarei."
“It’s clear lots of people are looking to have a winter escape in the coming weeks so our team has been working to add extra capacity where we can on our regional routes," said Scott Carr, Air NZ's general manager networks.
