Looks like the focus at least in regards NSW gold is strongly moving onto Basin Creek. Now we have been granted access by the farmers to the whole prospect it sounds like drilling preparations are well advanced to find what Shells limited shallow drilling missed all those years ago.

Well you often find or miss according to what you are looking for, Shell was looking for high grade gold, a vein system with no doubt underground mining in mind.

I believe we are looking for a high grade porphyry gold system and there certainly seems to be strong indications of one...traces of gold over 4km...

Those speaking of grades remember we are not looking for a small super high grade system (those everyone takes the high grades when they come of course). I believe we are looking for a large widespread system and with that anything over a average of 0.5 g/t can be a very valuable asset especially if you find such a beast starting near or at surface. Its the size that gives you the scale which makes you the profit.
Todays booming gold prices dont hurt the cause either.

We are hitting gold at surface over a wide area in our rock chip work. 4km of strike at Basin Creek.The drilling will confirm how deep it extends and give some indication of the shape of any host structure. A lot of work has already been done on this...I think it will be weeks not months until we get started on the drilling.

I think Basin Creek is by far our most promising gold target to date..things are about to get interesting.
