PM - Friday, 1 February , 2008 18:32:00 Reporter: Nicole Butler MARK COLVIN: The Queensland Premier Anna Bligh has taken the stand at a high profile committal hearing that’s investigating secret payments by a mining magnate to a former state government minister.
The former minister, Gordon Nuttall, has admitted that the coal baron, Ken Talbot, paid him over $300,000. But both have pleaded not guilty to 35 corruption-related charges.
Having KT on the board would not look good with OS institutions. May change as he increases his shareholding.
